Frequently Asked Questions

Is there any software or electronics that need to be connected or in place to run a printer inline with the Diamond series?
No, there is an electronic loop sensor that can be turned on and off on the D1050, D1060,D1070, and D1080 models. The loop sensor looks for material and tells the Diamond-10 that there is material and it is safe to run. This is especially important when running with printers that have automatic back feeds before and/or after printing a batch of labels.

Can the Diamond register to pre-existing print from a flexo or other printed source?
Yes, if you are using the D1070 or D1080. They include a re-registration system which uses a sensor and encoder to look for a printed mark and to register the cut to the marks' placement.

Are there locations where one could see the Diamond Series operating?
Yes, we have a showroom in Atlanta. Please call for an appointment.
